What Is Brainspotting?
Brainspotting is an experiential therapy that uses where you look — your visual field — as a way of accessing emotions, memories, and body-based experiences that may be difficult to reach through talking alone.
During a Brainspotting session, we gently identify a point in your visual field that seems connected to what you are feeling or working through. Rather than trying to analyze or explain what comes up, you are invited to notice your internal experience and allow your brain and body to process at their own pace.

Why Brainspotting?
Sometimes we understand exactly why we feel or react the way we do, but that understanding doesn’t necessarily change what happens inside us.
Brainspotting offers another way in. By working with your present-moment emotional and body experience, it can help you access material that may sit beneath words and conscious understanding.
Brainspotting may be helpful for people working with:
-
Trauma or painful past experiences
-
Anxiety, fear, or emotional overwhelm
-
Experiences that continue to feel “stuck”
-
Strong emotional or body-based reactions
-
Performance blocks or fear of failure
-
Patterns that haven’t shifted through insight alone

What Does a Session Feel Like?
Brainspotting is not about forcing yourself to revisit painful experiences or finding the “right” thing to say. You remain aware and in control throughout the process.
My role is to help create a safe, attuned space while staying closely connected to what is unfolding for you. There may be emotions, memories, physical sensations, images, thoughts — or simply quiet noticing.
There is no particular experience you are supposed to have. We follow what emerges, with curiosity and without judgment.

If this feels like the path
you’ve been looking for…
You don’t have to have it all figured out before you begin.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected,
or simply ready to work at a deeper level,
this can be a place to come back into
clearer relationship with yourself.
I can't wait to meet you and step onto the path together.
