For when you want to get underneath the pattern — not just keep talking about it

Sometimes what is happening on the surface is not the real issue.

You may find yourself:

  • reacting in ways you don’t fully understand

  • looping in the same emotional territory

  • feeling torn between different parts of yourself

  • stuck between clarity and action

  • carrying something old that still gets activated in the present

An individual intensive gives us the time to slow down enough to really understand what is happening underneath and to work with it in a deeper, more effective way.

Depending on what you are bringing in, our work may include:

  • identifying the deeper emotional drivers of a pattern

  • understanding and working with protective parts

  • accessing more vulnerable material in a safe, paced way

  • untangling inner conflict

  • making space for grief, clarity, truth, or repair

  • helping your system shift out of survival-based loops

My work is deeply informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment theory, trauma-informed care, and nervous system awareness.

The goal is not just insight.

The goal is movement.

Individual Intensives may be especially helpful for:

  • relationship patterns and attachment wounds

  • trauma triggers and unresolved emotional pain

  • shame, self-criticism, or inner conflict

  • major life decisions or transitions

  • grief, loss, or identity shifts

  • self-abandonment, over-functioning, or burnout

  • recurring dynamics that feel difficult to shift in weekly therapy

WHY A LONGER FORMAT CAN HELP

In weekly therapy, many people spend a significant part of the session just arriving — mentally, emotionally, and physically.

By the time the deeper material begins to emerge, the session is often ending.

With a longer format, we have more room to:

  • settle in fully

  • build and maintain momentum

  • stay with what matters long enough for it to shift

  • work in a way that feels less fragmented and more complete

This can be especially helpful if you:

  • tend to need time to access deeper material

  • feel like you “just get somewhere” when the hour ends

  • want a more focused, immersive process

For many people, an intensive allows us to cover in one sitting what might otherwise take many weeks of stop-and-start work.
